Review: Haagen-Dazs - Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cookie Squares

Haagen-Dazs Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cookie Squares feature a square chocolate cookie topped with peanut butter ice cream and then dipped in milk chocolate.

I picked up a 9-oz box containing three squares for $3.49 on sale.

In appearance, these look like a slightly smaller Klondike bar with some darker chocolate drizzled in for visual impact rather than any discernible taste I could pick up on. The shell is a bit thicker and smoother than a Klondike bar with a rich, creamy chocolaty taste.

The cookie inside is likewise rich and chocolaty with an almost brownie texture to it. It's a little softer than what you find in your typical cookies and cream ice cream.

The ice cream itself is creamy with a light peanut butter flavor that intensifies quite a bit when you come across the peanut butter ribbons that flow throughout it.

Taken altogether, Haagen-Dazs Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cookie makes for a really nice treat for when you're feeling like a richer, creamier chocolate peanut butter version of a Klondike bar with just a bit more texture to boot.
