The new product features a seasoned crispy breading and white meat chicken that's been air-fried. Compared to regular fried boneless chicken, it contains about 75% less fat.
Tyson Air Fried Chicken comes in three varieties at launch:
- Air Fried Chicken Breast Strips
- Air Fried Chicken Breast Fillets
- Air Fried Chicken Nuggets
Air frying refers to circulating hot air around food at high speed (i.e. convection). It uses less oil than deep-frying while still resulting in a crispy outer layer.
