Taco Bell Welcomes New Triplelupa

Offering three mini Chalupas connected by their shells, Taco Bell welcomes the new, limited-time Triplelupa at participating restaurants nationwide starting March 12, 2020.

The mini Chalupas that make up the Triplelupa feature the same filings of seasoned beef, lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese but differ in that each come with a different flavor: the mini Chalupa at one end comes with warm nacho cheese (Nacho Cheese), while the one at the other end comes with creamy Chipotle sauce (Chipotle), and the one in the middle gets a combination of both sauces (Cheesy Chipotle).

The suggested price for Taco Bell's new Triplelupa starts at $3.49 (may vary). It contains twice the seasoned beef compared to a regular Chalupa (which is a pretty decent value as a regular Chalupa has a suggested price of $2.99). It marks the chain's "first ever tear-apart menu item." It also features the chain's longest shell at about 9.25 inches in length.

I was able to try the Triplelupa when it was being tested back in March of last year. You can see what I thought of it back then here.
