7-Eleven Opens New Fried Chicken Fast Food Restaurant Inside Manhattan Test Store

7-Eleven opens a new fried chicken restaurant in New York, Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits, inside of their 7-Eleven Evolution Store in Manhattan with the tagline "Chicken Worth Crossing the Road For."

The new Southern-inspired fast food restaurant features a menu that includes "made-from-scratch, hand-breaded fried chicken tenders with signature sauces, bone-in and boneless wings, signature chicken sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches." For convenience, it offers both made-to-order and grab-and-go options.

You can find the concept at the 7-Eleven Evolution Store located at 88 Greenwich Street in NYC.

7-Eleven Evolution Stores serve as real-time test beds for new concepts for the chain as well as design features that could make their way into future stores. Exclusive products and features of the Manhattan store include:

- Made-to-order specialty drinks including flavored lattes, mochas, smoothies, and cold brew coffee.

- Touchscreen machines that offer self-serve, fresh-ground and brewed coffee.

- Tea, cold brew, kombucha, nitro cold brew, flavored drinks and more on tap.

- A cold treats and toppings bar with self-serve frozen yogurt and ice cream.

- Mobile Checkout - You can pay for your purchases via the 7-Eleven app.

7-Eleven currently has opened three Evolution Stores so far (in Dallas, Washington D.C., and NYC) with another one to open soon in San Diego. They plan to continue to expand the concept across the country this year.
