Hostess Rolls-Out New, Caffeinated "Boost Jumbo Donettes"

Hostess expands their line-up of donuts with the national roll-out of new, caffeinated Hostess Boost Jumbo Donettes, which come in two flavors at launch: Chocolate Mocha and Caramel Macchiato.

Chocolate Mocha Boost Jumbo Donettes feature a lightly-glazed donut with the flavors of chocolate and espresso, while the Caramel Macchiato variety offers a lightly-glazed donut with creamy caramel and espresso flavors.

Jumbo Donettes is the brand's line of regular-sized donuts as each donut is about three times the size of a Donettes mini donut. The caffeinated version of Jumbo Donettes each contain a little less caffeine than one cup of coffee, according to Hostess. A typical 8-oz cup of coffee contains about 95 mg of caffeine, while the Boost Jumbo Donettes range from 50 to 70 milligrams of caffeine per donut from coffee bean extract.

You can find new Hostess Boost Jumbo Donettes in 2.5-oz single-serve packages for a suggested price of $2.49 each at convenience stores nationwide starting this month.
