The Northwoods Walleye Sandwich features a fried-to-order battered Northwoods Walleye filet, tartar sauce, and shredded lettuce on a lightly-buttered, toasted hoagie roll.
The Northwoods Walleye Dinner offers the same filet but serves it with tartar sauce, a choice of two sides, and a warm dinner roll.
The Northwoods are a forest that covers half of Canada and parts of the Midwestern United States. The walleye is a freshwater fish native to the same area.
While Northwoods Walleye is only available for a limited time, Culver's offers crispy-fried North Atlantic Cod and Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp as part of the regular menu.
