Applebee's new Broccoli Cheddar Mac 'n Cheese Bowl features penne pasta tossed in a Parmesan cream sauce with broccoli, shredded carrots, applewood-smoked bacon, and a blend of melted Cheddar cheeses. You can also get it with grilled chicken for an additional charge.
The Irresist-A-Bowls selection may vary with location but can also include the following:
- Crispy Orange Chicken Bowl - Crispy-fried pieces of breaded boneless chicken breast tossed in tangy orange sauce, topped with green onions and toasted almonds, and served over stir-fried veggies and cilantro rice.
- Grilled Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Bowl - Penne pasta tossed in a creamy spinach Alfredo sauce and topped with grilled chicken, a blend of melted Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses, and parsley.
- Homestyle Chicken Bowl - Crispy-fried breaded pieces of boneless chicken breast served over garlic mashed potatoes, garlicky green beans, applewood-smoked bacon and a blend of Cheddar cheeses. It's all then smothered in gravy and topped with crispy-fried onions.
- Southwest Chicken Bowl - Grilled chipotle-lime chicken with house-made pico de gallo, black bean corn salsa, and guacamole, served over mixed greens and cilantro rice, then topped with chimichurri, tortilla strips, and a fresh lime wedge.
- Tex-Mex Shrimp Bowl - It's the same as the Southwest Chicken Bowl but comes with grilled chipotle-lime shrimp instead of chicken.
Prices for the bowls start at $8.99 for the Broccoli Cheddar Mac 'n Cheese Bowl, while the bowls with chicken run for $11 or more (may vary).
