Wendy's Adds New Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap Starting March 28, 2023

Wendy's gets back in the wrap game with the launch of the new Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap starting Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

Wendy's Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap is meant to be a permanent menu item and a lighter menu option (around 420 calories or so) that features grilled chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce, and new creamy ranch sauce wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

The new buttermilk ranch is meant to provide a classic ranch dressing taste with notes of garlic and herbs.

Wendy's once offered snack-sized Go Wraps but eventually discontinued them. Rival McDonald's went further down the wrap tree with both Snack Wraps and meal-sized McWraps but also eventually discontinued both (although McDonald's still offers wraps in other countries). It should be interesting to see if it works out better this time around and if the launch could mark the beginning of another wrap trend among the fast food chains.

As the Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap launches, the chain will be discontinuing their Grilled Chicken Sandwiches as they'll be switching to pre-cooked, pre-cut grilled chicken for salads and the new Wrap.
