Taco Bell Tests Savory Empanada Called the "Crispanada"

Taco Bell tests the new Cheesy Chicken Crispanada as a savory empanada that basically looks like the discontinued Caramel Apple Empanada but with chicken and cheese inside.

Taco Bell's Cheesy Chicken Crispanada can be found at participating locations in the Knoxville, TN area for a limited time and features a deep-fried pastry shell filled with seasoned shredded chicken and melted 3-cheese blend. It comes with a side of spicy ranch for dipping.

The Cheesy Chicken Crispanada carries a suggested price tag of $3.49 by itself. They're also offering it as part of a Deluxe Box combo that includes the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada, a Chalupa Supreme, a Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium drink for a suggested price of $8.49.
