The strawberry flavor on the Strawberry Twists offered a layered experience that started out with strawberry notes but then exhibited a bit of saltiness and finished with a tangy strawberry candy-type vibe that lingered on the tongue a bit.
The flavor comes atop the crispy, airy, and light texture that the chain's Cinnamon Twists are known for.
Overall, Taco Bell's Strawberry Twists turned out pretty well and could mark the start of a Taco Bell trend that sees them putting out more flavors of Twists. The strawberry flavor reminded me a bit of a bolder take on strawberry milk.
