Meant to feed two people, the BK Homecoming Meal includes two Whopper Jr. burgers, two milkshakes, one small order of onions rings, and one small order of French fries for $10. Also included in the meal are two Burger King paper crowns (because "it’s not homecoming without a crown"), while supplies last. The idea being to make for an inexpensive meal for before or after a homecoming dance.
If you happen to live the New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, or Oklahoma City area, in those cities, they'll be giving out limited-edition, homecoming-themed crowns with the purchase of a BK Homecoming Meal, while supplies last.
Homecoming generally refers to the tradition of welcoming back alumni of an organization (commonly a school) to celebrate the organization.
