Shake Shack Welcomes New Fried Pickles

Shake Shack serves up new Fried Pickles as the chain's "first ever additional side" since it went from a hot dog cart to a permanent location in Madison Square Park (when it expanded its menu to include hamburgers, crinkle-cut fries, and shakes).

Shake Shack's Fried Pickles feature thick dill pickles dipped in a seasoned batter and fried. Each order comes with a side of buttermilk ranch for dipping.

The Fried Pickles can also be found in the Carolina BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Fried Pickles, which was launched earlier this month as part of Shake Shack's summer BBQ menu.

Prices vary, but a Shake Shack restaurant here in Los Angeles sells the Fried Pickles for $4.99. In comparison, an order of crinkle-cut fries costs $4.49.
