Wienerschnitzel Introduces New Southern Bird Dogs

Wienerschnitzel gets into the chicken tenders game with the debut of new Southern Bird Dogs, which are inspired by a South Carolina dish, and feature crispy-fried chicken breast tenders served on hot dog buns.

Available for a limited time, Wienerschnitzel's Southern Bird Dogs come in three varieties:

- Bacon Ranch - A chicken breast tender, diced bacon, two slices of tomato, and ranch, served on a hot dog bun.

- Buffalo Ranch - A chicken breast tender, two slices of tomato, ranch, and Buffalo sauce, served on a hot dog bun.

- BBQ - A chicken breast tender, grilled onions, a pickle spear, and BBQ sauce, served on a hot dog bun

The chicken tenders are also available to order on their own a la carte or as part of a combo. There's a Regular Combo that includes two tenders, regular fries, and a dipping sauce and there's the Large Combo with four tenders, large fries, and two dipping sauces.

If the concept seems familiar, Bojangles' introduced a similar product, Bo's Bird Dogs, last year, and Sonic once served a mini version called "Lil' Chickies." KFC also offers the Chicken Little (although it lacks the hinge of a hot dog bun)
