Taco Bell Reveals New Crispy Chicken Tacos and Burritos

Taco Bell reveals new, limited-time Crispy Chicken Tacos and Burritos ahead of a national launch starting on June 17, 2025. Both feature new Crispy Chicken Strips, which are fried chicken tenders with the same tortilla-crusted breading as the chain's Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

In addition to the coating, the chicken strips feature white-meat chicken marinated in zesty jalapeno buttermilk flavor.

Taco Bell's Crispy Chicken Taco consists of a Crispy Chicken Strip, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheddar cheese, and a choice of new Spicy Ranchero Sauce or Avocado Ranch Sauce. It carries a suggested price of $2.79.

The Crispy Chicken Burrito features two Crispy Chicken Strips, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and new Spicy Ranchero Sauce or Avocado Ranch Sauce, wrapped up in a warm, soft flour tortilla. The price for the burrito starts at $5.49.

The new Spicy Ranchero Sauce is described as "a creamy sauce made with Anaheim and jalapeno chiles, tomatoes, garlic, and onion, offering a hint of spice that’s perfect for dunking or drizzling."

Crispy Chicken Strips are also available by themselves, priced at two for $3.99.

While the details haven't yet been revealed, Taco Bell plans to add some form of crispy chicken to the menu permanently in 2026.
