Review: Little Caesars - Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza

Little Caesars' Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza next to a quarter.

Little Caesars' Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza is a hand-tossed pizza with four different combinations of toppings: Classic Cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage & Bacon, and Pepperoni & Jalapeno. Each combination occupies a quarter of the pizza (two slices).

I bought one for $7.99.

The limited-edition box for Little Caesars' Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza.

The pizza box sported a neat retro graphic of Thing and a quarter of the Fantastic Four logo. There are four box designs in all, and they fit together to make a larger image. If it weren't for the pizza grease, you might be inclined to hold onto them.

Not mentioned in the description is a dusting of seasoning that appears to be dehydrated garlic and dried parsley(?). The seasoning was very mild in flavor despite being sprinkled on liberally.

While the Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza comes on a hand-tossed crust, the toppings go all the way to the edge like Little Caesars' Old World Fanceroni Pepperoni Pizza. There's a thin rim of caramelized cheese around the whole pizza.

The crust had a soft, slightly spongy, slightly chewy, and uniform crumb with occasional crispiness at the surface, especially at the edge. The sauce was light, and the cheese was plentiful with a decent stretchiness.

As for the toppings, the Sausage & Bacon and the Pepperoni & Jalapeno stood out since Cheese and Pepperoni are the chain's standard Hot-N-Ready stalwarts.

The sausage had a nice chew and flavor, while the bacon was fatty with a smoky punch.

Jalapeno can vary quite a bit in terms of heat level, but I was surprised by the amount of heat the pickled jalapenos on my slice were pushing. It was spicy enough to get my nose running and make it hard to taste the pepperoni.

Overall, Little Caesars' Fantastic Four-in-One Pizza made for a nice, enjoyable variety compared to the chain's usual pepperoni-focused specials. It's nothing groundbreaking, but I liked the change of pace. As a limited-time special, it was cheaper (in my area; yours may vary) than the chain's Slices-N-Stix and ExtraMostBestest Pepperoni Pizza and the same price as the Classic Pepperoni and Classic Cheese pizzas.
