Free Donuts at Krispy Kreme on June 3, 2016

Krispy Kreme will once again be celebrating National Donut Day this Friday, June 3, 2016, by offering anyone who walks into a participating location a free donut of their choice.

The chain will also be setting out mini Salvation Army Red Kettles by the register to encourage donations to The Salvation Army. The proceeds are slated to support the local communities where the donation is made.

The Salvation Army first established National Donut Day in honor of the women, called "Donut Lassies," who served donuts to soldiers during World War I.

A purchase or donation is not required to receive your free donut.
