Review: Starbucks - Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew Coffee

Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew Coffee features cold brew coffee with a bit of house-made vanilla sweet cream.

I went and got a 16-oz Grande for $3.75.

Compared to their brewed iced coffee, Starbucks Cold Brew proffers a smooth coffee experience tinged with a some acidity at the tail end. You're not going to get the harsher, bitter or charred notes that sometimes accompanies their brew.

The vanilla sweet cream enhanced the coffee's natural sweetness and added a touch of richness (or more, if you don't stir the drink much) without taking over the cup. The combination of vanilla and cream also rounded out the citrus-y end note.

Overall, I enjoyed Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew Coffee very much. The coffee flavor is strong and, unlike a lot of their syrup-flavored drinks, it's very much the star rather than a bit player.
