Review: Burger King - Oreo Sundae

Burger King's new Oreo Sundae is part of their new soft serve line-up and features vanilla soft serve layered with chocolate fudge and topped with Oreo cookie pieces.

The Oreo Sundae is priced at $2.49 and comes in a larger cup than Burger King's "traditional sundaes."

I'm not sure if it's by design or not but my Oreo Sundae came with caramel syrup as well chocolate. The picture on their website shows caramel and chocolate but the description makes no mention of caramel. Also the promo pics at the restaurant itself showed only chocolate so I dunno.

You'll notice in the picture that for aesthetic appeal, the sundae comes bottomed with a layer of chocolate fudge syrup. While it looks nice and all, it's really sweet and I leaves you with a pool of chocolate fudge after all your soft serve is gone.
The combination of chocolate syrup plus caramel syrup plus Oreos is way too sweet for my liking. I'd rather either have just the syrups or just the Oreos. Put it this way, you dip your Oreos in milk, not syrup.

It's also kinda pricey for soft serve considering you're just paying for a little more soft serve, syrup, and some Oreo pieces over their regular chocolate sundae. For the $1.49 extra, there should be at least nuts and a cherry on top! Or some whipped cream!
