The nitrogen-infused version of their signature cola features smaller bubbles for a smooth and creamy foam head. The effect is similar to what you find in some beers and, more recently, in nitro-infused coffee.
According to Pepsi, Nitro Pepsi should be consumed differently from regular soda for the best experience. They recommend that it be:
- Served cold without ice.
- "Hard-poured" i.e. fully inverted into a tall glass (rather than at a tilt)
- Sipped directly from the glass (rather than through a straw).
At launch, Nitro Pepsi will be available in two flavors: Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Cola. You will be able to buy it in single cans or in a 4-pack.
