Review: Devour - Steak n' Eggs with Creamy Gravy

Devour's All Day Breakfast Steak 'n Eggs with Creamy Gravy frozen meal features roasted potatoes, eggs, roasted red onion, Angus beef, black pepper gravy, applewood-smoked bacon, and cheddar cheese.

A 9-oz box cost me $2.99 on sale.

The meal mostly consists of potatoes and then eggs. The potatoes were tender and lightly seasoned, while the egg added a bit of texture and little flavor. There were also quite a bit of onions.

There were, maybe, four decently-sized pieces of steak in the whole meal. They were soft and easy to bite through but not very steak-like in texture. They did offer a nice beefiness on the rare encounter though.

Beside the potatoes, Devour Steak 'n Egg with Creamy Gravy had a creamy onion-y flavor throughout joined by mild touches of cheese along with a slight peppery quality.

The expectedly non-crispy bacon was good for a welcomed hit of salt and smokiness.

Overall, Devour Steak n' Eggs were Creamy Gravy turned out nicely enough as a breakfast scramble but was a bit misleading in terms of the name, as it felt more like a potato hash with bacon, eggs and a few pieces of beef.
