Bojangles Debuts New Bo's Bird Dog

Bojangles debuts the new Bo's Bird Dog as a crispy-fried chicken tender served in a hot dog bun. They're touting it as a on-the-go meal or snack. Most would probably just call it a "fried chicken hot dog."

Bo's Bird Dog consists of one of Bojangles signature Chicken Supreme tenders placed in a split-top bun with thick-cut pickles and a drizzle of Carolina Gold sauce (which is a honey mustard-based BBQ sauce similar to KFC's Georgia Gold).

Bojangles Bo's Bird Dogs can be ordered a la carte, as part of a combo with a side and a drink, or in bulk for large gatherings. They're available now for a limited time.

The new menu item is similar to a few sandwiches offered by competitors in the past including KFC's Chicken Littles and Sonic's Lil Chickies.
