Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn are a frozen dinner staple. The food companies have had a lot of time to iron out the kink for cooking them in the microwave. But even so, I have to admit I was impressed at how this one turned out.
The brownie was moist and chocolaty, while the chicken breading was actually crispy, and not soggy at all. This is pretty much as good as it gets as far as microwave cooking goes.
The mashed potatoes were a good consistency, not too thick nor thin. The provide a good starch to counterbalance the chicken's salt and protein. Even the corn, which often turns out overcooked or dry in the microwave, turned out quite nicely and retained a lot of its form and moisture.
The only negative I could point out is the brownie tends to crumble easily. Otherwise, Hungry-Man's Boneless Fried Chicken stands at the pinnacle of frozen dinner mastery.
