Review: Chick-fil-A - Chicken Sandwich Deluxe

Chick-fil-A's Chicken Sandwich Deluxe takes their standard Chicken Sandwich and complements it with green leaf lettuce, tomato slices, and a slice of American cheese. An optional wheat bun is also available. It's priced at $3.75cand comes in a black Styrofoam clamshell rather than the foil bag the Chicken Sandwich comes in.

While, the lettuce, tomato, and cheese are all of the expected Chick-fil-A good quality, maybe I'm just a simple guy, but I prefer the simpler chicken and pickle of the regular Chicken Sandwich. But, by no means do I suggest that Chicken Sandwich Deluxe is anything other than a great sandwich.

The chicken sported a crunchy crust while remaining wonderfully juicy inside and the veggies were fresh. I could have done without the slice of cheese, but that's just personal preference; I don't like cheese on my chicken generally, especially not American cheese.

I guess I'm just a purist who would rather enjoy the taste of the Chick-fil-A breaded chicken breast with relatively few accompaniments.
