It's available as a 6-ounce individual pizza for a regular price of around $3.79.
While the taste reminds you of an actual BBQ Chicken pizza, it's a very muted imitation. The crust turns out crisp enough but is a bit dry and a little chewy.
The overall flavors were fairly light; I would have preferred stronger flavors. The sauce and onions especially didn't have much flavor.
On the plus side, the cheese is real and the chicken chunks were of a good size.
Still, I'd rather go with a cheaper Totinos pizza. California Pizza Kitchen's frozen BBQ Chicken Crispy Thin Crust Pizza just struggles to hit any of the right notes.

Little Caesars is very good for a basic value pizza, and the frozen pizzas can be alright too. I agree it's an amazing value. I do think the $10 pizza chains do a slightly better job though, at least in terms of taste. It's still super greasy comfort food, but it's a step above, at least in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI agree though, good review as usual. I plan to stick with red baron, tombstone, and digiorno's on the frozen side. I haven't had a bad experience yet with those brands.
