The Western BBQ BK Topper Cheeseburger is essentially a Rodeo Cheeseburger but with a bigger beef patty.
Plus I really like Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. It's one of my favorite BBQ sauces. The taste is well-balanced: not too tomato-y or sweet with just a slight kick. I would not like this burger as much without this BBQ sauce.

I tried one without the onion rings and I kinda liked it. The BBQ sauce with the meat worked pretty good. It's as good as I expect from any BBQ burger.

ReplyDeletePeering at the pic I ponder if the onion rings shown are pre-formed and intended to naturally be ready for installation in an oval shape or if the burger craftsperson must squeeze a round onion ring into an oval that will fit upon the burger with either no or minimal overhang and no overlapping of the onion rings.
ReplyDeleteIf oval onion rings were used even if it required overlapping them wouldn't the added thickness to the burger confer a subjective appearance of the buyer receiving more for their money?
Overhang could also possibly create an apparent illusion of the product purchaser receiving maximum value for money spent.
Surely there are those at "corporate" who pondered at many levels to ascertain the many aspects of where, when, how and why to utilize the onion rings to assist in maximizing income while minimizing cost.
Heck, if costs could be reduced enough and if possible to implement entire villages of sub-Saharan tribes would be used to build the burgers and packed into containers for the trip via ship to the USA.
BK's idea of "western" seems to be limited to KC Masterpiece. Heh.
