Review: Quaker - True Delights Blackberry Pomegranate Multigrain Fiber Crisps

Quaker's True Delights Blackberry Pomegranate Multigrain Fiber Crisps offer a crunchy whole grain Blackberry Pomegranate flavored snack.

A 3.5-ounce bag costs about $1.99 at retail or a buck on sale.

In addition to Wild Blueberry, Quaker also offers their Multigrain Fiber Crisps (very descriptive no?) in Blackberry Pomegranate flavor.

They're mostly the same as Wild Blueberry: they have a nice substantial crunch, tout the same health benefits, and taste like berries (they might be a little more tart). They also have a artificial sweetener after taste that you may or may not notice.
I like the crunch and initial flavor but hate the slight but cloying aftertaste. I really wish they'd label artificial sweeteners more prominently. Still crunch, flavor, whole grains (17g per serving), and fiber are not a bad combo at all.

Please do bear in mind that neither blackberries nor pomegranates are in the ingredients so you won't get the health benefits of either. These are just Blackberry Pomegranate flavored.

  1. I wonder if these edibles are the type of thing that if buried in a landfill and will be able to be dug up many centuries later basically in the same condition as when buried to be pondered over by future archeologists attempting to decipher how the primitives of the past lived, worked and played.
