The burger features two slices of Swiss cheese, two quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patties, thick-cut bacon, mushrooms and mayo on a toasted sesame seed bun.
The move isn't surprising given that, at one point or another, Burger King has added mushrooms and Swiss cheese to pretty much every line of burgers they're offered including the Whopper, the Big King, and the BK Topper (which offered different variants of their standard cheeseburger).
The King line is Burger King's latest iteration of "premium" burgers and bucks the trend of fancier buns and/or beef patties. Instead, they're basically Double Whoppers minus the standard lettuce, tomato, and onion combination.
The burger goes for $5.99 in my area (may vary).
