Ben & Jerry's Debuts New "Moo-Phoria" Line of Light Ice Cream

Ben & Jerry's debuts a new line of light ice cream that they're dubbing "Moo-Phoria."

The line features the chunks and swirls that the brand is known for but with at least 35 percent less calories and 60 to 70 percent less fat than traditional ice cream. Each 1/2 cup serving contains 140 to 160 calories.

Moo-phoria pints come in three flavors:

- Chocolate Milk & Cookies (140 calories per serving) - Chocolate and vanilla light ice cream with pieces of chocolate chip cookies.

- Caramel Cookie Fix (150 calories per serving) - Vanilla light ice cream with shortbread cookie pieces and salted caramel swirls.

- PB Dough (160 calories per serving) - Chocolate light ice cream with gobs of chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough.

Unlike some other light ice cream lines, Moo-phoria does not contain artificial sugar substitutes or sugar alcohols. The line is also made with organic milk and cream.

The new line is set to arrive soon at grocery stores nationwide with a suggested price of $4.89 per pint. It'll also be available for sale at Ben & Jerry's online store at www.store.benjerry.com.
