Taco Bell Tests Double Steak Gordita Melt

Taco Bell is testing the new Double Steak Gordita Melt in at least some locations in West Virginia.

The menu item features a double portion of steak and melted three-cheese blend folded in a warm, soft gordita shell. It's basically a steak gordita quesadilla and should taste and feel similar to the Grande Quesadilla they put out in 2009.

Like many featured Taco Bell menu items, the Double Steak Gordita Melt can be bought by itself or as part of a $5 combo. The $5 Double Steak Gordita Melt "3-Course Meal" combo includes the melt, chips and nacho cheese, two Cinnabon Delights, and a medium fountain drink.

If you're curious to try this and don't happen to be close to West Virginia, you can probably custom-order it at your local Taco Bell. Just ask them to grill-press a gordita shell with 3-cheese blend and steak.
