Mountain Dew Reveals New Mountain Dew Zero Sugar Soda

Mountain Dew joins the sugarless beverage trend with the national debut of new Mountain Dew Zero Sugar (stylized as "Mtn Dew") starting January 13, 2020.

The brand describes the new soda as "just as good as the original – and maybe, even better."

Mountain Dew Zero Sugar comes in 20-oz bottles, 2-liter bottles, and 12-packs of 12-oz cans, plus a number of other single and multi-pack sizes.

Rather than sugar, the new beverage is sweetened with a combination of acesulfame potassium, aspartame, and sucralose. It contains 68mg of caffeine per 12-oz can versus 54mg for a similar amount of regular Mountain Dew.
