The burger features a grilled beef patty, three strips of applewood-smoked bacon, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, and onion on a toasted bun.
The Big Bacon Classic was first introduced in 1992 but was eventually displaced by the Baconator. It is slightly different than before as Wendy's has since gotten rid of the Kaiser bun that it came on and made the switch to applewood-smoked bacon in late 2009 (also the new version has two slices of cheese rather than one). That being said, it's essentially a Dave's Single with bacon.
The Big Bacon Classic is priced at $5.99 at my local Wendy's, which is a buck more than a Dave's Single.
