A 2-oz bag normally costs about $2 but I received this courtesy of Doritos.
Doritos 3D have a crunchy texture that remind me of Bugles. There's a fairly uniform weave of tiny bubbles/air pockets across each piece that makes them airier and thicker than regular Doritos (which have a much more sporadic small amount of uneven larger bubbles).
Flavor-wise, these taste the same as regular Doritos Ranch but with a slow burning spicy kick that's not quite as hot as the Flamin' Hot line. You get the same savory quality as regular Ranch with a slightly creamy base, a touch of tang, and herby notes.
Overall, if a crunchier, spicy version of Doritos Ranch strikes your fancy, Doritos 3D Crunch Spicy Ranch might be the cure for what ails you.
