The Nathan’s Famous by Meatless Farm plant-based hot dog uses pea protein as a base and is seasoned with Nathan's signature secret spice recipe. It is low in saturated fat, low in sodium, soy-free, and gluten-free.
The plant-based hot dogs are currently for sale as part of a kit exclusively at the Nathan's online Shopify portal. The kit costs $44.99, serves six, and can be shipped anywhere in the US (it's shipped frozen with ice packs). It includes: 6 Nathan's Famous Meatless Farm Hot Dogs, 6 Hot Dog Buns, and 1 Nathan's Famous Deli Style Mustard Bottle.
Starting in May 2021, the new plant-based hot dog will be available at select Nathan's Famous locations in the NY tri-state area and Florida with plans to offer it at more locations in 2022.
