Review: Nissin - Hot Garlic Chicken Cup Noodles Stir-Fry

Nissin's Hot Garlic Chicken Cup Noodles Stir-Fry features stir-fry style Asian noodles with a mix of rehydrated carrots, green onion, garlic, cabbage, and tomato in sauce.

I paid 99 cents for a 2.93-oz cup.

The flavor turned out very garlicky with visible bits of garlic mixed in. Beyond the garlic, there was a robust savory quality with a bit of tang and sweetness. It wasn't too salty, especially for instant noodles.

Additionally, the "hot" in the name is no joke as it was quite spicy--like Nongshim brand Korean ramyun-level spicy (if you've ever tried that).

The noodles were soft throughout with just a slight chew but you can probably play around with the cook time to get the the noodles to your preferred texture. They were slightly wider and flatter than the noodles found in the main Cup Noodles line. The random dried veggies don't really amount to much but that's often the case with instant noodles.

Overall, Nissin Hot Garlic Chicken Cup Noodles Stir-Fry were pretty tasty and pretty spicy. There's a nice variety to the overall flavor and a heavy dose of garlic, which suits me just fine.
