Frito-Lay's Ruffles Flamin' Hot Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Chips features ridged potato chips with a combination of Cheddar & Sour cream and Flamin' Hot seasonings.

The Flamin' Hot version of Ruffle's Cheddar & Sour Cream potato chips don't seem to smell much different from regular Ruffle's Cheddar & Sour Cream chips. They definitely sport that distinctive speckled red seasoning of the Flamin' Hot line though.
It probably goes without saying, but I got same ridged crunch as most of the Ruffles line.
Taste-wise, I picked out the same cheddar and sour cream notes but with some extra tang as well as a moderate dose heat on it that builds up in short order as I went along eating them. They felt less spicy than the recently-released Doritos Flamin' Hot Cool Ranch Tortilla Chips though.
The short of it is Frito-Lay's Ruffles Flamin' Hot Cheddar & Sour Cream Flavored Potato Chips are more-or-less a spicy version of Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream, which is pretty nice if you've been hoping for some heat on Ruffle's best-selling flavor.
