Chick-fil-A Tests Dedicated Drive-Thru Lane for Mobile Orders

Chick-fil-A is in the midst of testing a dedicated drive-thru lane for mobile orders at select restaurants.

The idea is for the drive-thru express lane to offer "the quickest and easiest way to order and pick up a meal."

At the select locations where the concept is being tested, the express lane is either a partially or fully dedicated drive-thru lane where customers who order through the Chick-fil-A mobile app can follow the express lane signs (skipping the line that leads up to drive-thru ordering), scan a QR code using the app, and then pull up to get their order from a Chick-fil-A employee.

According to Chick-fil-A, the drive-thru express lane is currently available at about 60 locations across the US with the potential to roll out at more locations in 2023, pending further testing.
