Black Forest Gummies Auctions Paintings Made by Trees to Benefit Trees

Black Forest Gummies is auctioning off a number of paintings that were painted by trees with the proceeds going to benefit trees (specifically the Nation Forest Foundation, a non-profit that "leads forest conservation efforts and promotes responsible recreation.").

The "A Brush with Nature" collection consists of 10 original custom-framed paintings that are currently on auction on eBay through June 28, 2022. A limited amount of smaller reprints of the original tree artwork as also for sale to benefit the National Forest Foundation.

How were the paintings made? They produced the paintings tying various materials such as paint brushes and conte crayon to limbs or branches of trees in the Angeles National Forest, placing a canvas nearby, and letting the trees "paint" as the wind blew through.

The new art collection came about to celebrate the completion of Black Forest's pledge to plant 1.5 million trees, in partnership with the National Forest Foundation, by 2022. The brand is also on-track to hit its long-rand goal to plant 10 million trees by 2030.
