Domino's Australia Bakes New "Burger Joint" Pizza Line

Domino's Australia bakes their take of a pizza with burger toppings in the new "Burger Joint" Pizza line, which features four varieties to represent different types of burgers.

They're describing the new pizza menu as, "not just a burger made on a pizza" but rather "a burger made to be delivered."

The four varieties of Domino's Burger Joint line include:

- Burger Joint Cheeseburger Pizza - Topped with beef burger pieces, American cheese slices, mozzarella, butter pickles, and special burger sauce.

- Burger Joint Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza - Topped with beef burger pieces, American cheese slices, mozzarella, butter pickles, bacon, and special burger sauce.

- Burger Joint Hamburger Pizza - loaded with 100% all beef burger pieces, American burger cheese slices, red onion, fresh tomato, mozzarella and butter pickles finished with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.

- Burger Joint Bacon Hamburger Pizza - loaded with 100% all beef burger pieces, American burger cheese slices, red onion, fresh tomato, mozzarella, butter pickles and crispy bacon finished with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.

Domino's Australia went with a weird nomenclature for the Burger Joint menu as a "cheeseburger" seems to denote a fairly simple meat and cheese-type burger, while a "hamburger" takes a "cheeseburger" and adds on onion, tomato, mayo, and ketchup (with the latter two replacing special sauce). Regardless, both the Cheeseburger and Hamburger Pizzas come with American cheese.

Here in the US, Domino's, Papa John's, and Pizza Hut have all tried their hands at a cheeseburger pizza at one time or another.
