Taco Bell's Salsa Verde Grilled Chicken Burrito features grilled marinated white-meat chicken, seasoned rice, reduced-fat sour cream, a blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and pepper jack cheeses (their 3-cheese blend), and green chile sauce (i.e. salsa verde or green sauce) wrapped up in a warm flour tortilla.
Salsa Verde Grilled Chicken Burrito will cost a suggested price of $2 a la carte. It will also be available as part of the Deluxe Box, which also includes a Chalupa Supreme, crunchy taco, chips & nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink for a suggested price of $8.49.
The Salsa Verde Grilled Chicken Burrito was tested earlier this year in Milwaukee.
Other $2 burritos currently on the Taco Bell menu include the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito and Beefy Melt Burrito.
