McDonald's Renames Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Unveils New Bacon Ranch McCrispy Sandwich

McDonald's renames their Crispy Chicken Sandwich as the "McCrispy" and celebrates the moment by unveiling the new Bacon Ranch McCrispy and Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy, which are set to launch starting March 13, 2023.

The Bacon Ranch McCrispy features a crispy-fried chicken filet served with applewood-smoked bacon, a new buttermilk ranch sauce, and crinkle-cut pickles on a toasted potato roll.

The Bacon Ranch Deluxe McCrispy takes the Bacon Ranch McCrispy and swaps out the pickles for Roma tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Both will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide starting Monday, March 13, 2023.

McDonald's first introduced the Crispy Chicken Sandwich back in 2021. Interestingly, the McCrispy name is a bit late coming to the US as McDonald's already uses the moniker for their chicken sandwiches in a number of countries, including Canada, Costa Rica, South Korea, and the UK.

With the name change, McDonald's permanent Crispy Chicken line-up is now as follows:

• Deluxe McCrispy
• Spicy McCrispy
• Spicy Deluxe McCrispy
