Chick-fil-A's new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich is a seasonal, fall variant of the chain's Original Chicken Sandwich. It features a crispy-fried chicken filet drizzled with honey, served with pimento cheese and mild pickled jalapenos on a toasted bun.
The new pimento cheese is a custom-made blend that includes sharp cheddar cheese, green chilis, and red pimentos (AKA cherry peppers).
The new sandwich came about after over a year of development that saw almost 30 different versions. After development, the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich had a successful market test in Asheville, NC and upstate South Carolina in 2020.
While the new sandwich will be rolling out nationally, it will not be available in Hawaii.
