Little Caesars Launches New Smokehouse Pizza

Little Caesars combines slow-cooked, smoked meats and pizza for the debut of their new Smokehouse Pizza.

The pizza features a large, hand-tossed round pizza covered in the chain's signature blend of mozzarella and Muenster cheeses, topped with beef brisket, pulled pork, applewood-smoked bacon and barbecue sauce. To drive the barbecue theme home, the crust is sprinkled with smokehouse seasoning.

Brisket and pulled pork are new to the chain. The brisket, which comes from Midwest beef, is brined with spices and then pit-smoked with Hickory wood for 8 to 10 hours. The pulled pork is cooked in rotisserie-style pit smokers for 10 to 12 hours.

While already available in some locations, Little Caesars' new Smokehouse Pizza's national launch starts on February 27, 2017. You can find it for a limited time at participating locations for $9. It's available Hot-N-Ready from 4 to 8 PM. You can order regularly outside those hours.

If the concept sounds somewhat familiar, the pizza was spotted testing late last year.
