Review: Sonic - Peach Flavored Sweet Tea

Sonic Peach Flavored Sweet Tea
Sonic's Peach Flavored Sweet Tea features their sweetened iced tea flavored with peach syrup. It's available for their Happy Hour promotion for half price between 2 and 4pm. Since it was Happy Hour and ice tea doesn't have carbonation to lose, I bought a Route 44-sized (Sonic's name for a 44-ounce drink) Peach Flavored Sweet Tea for half-off at $1.30 (regularly $2.60). It's also available unsweetened for a single-digit calorie drink.

Raspberry is usually the offered flavoring for tea at most places, so peach was a nice change. The peach flavor was pretty clean and very peach-like. The tea was discernible and fairly sweet. Overall, a fruity, refreshing drink for a hot day.

For those that prefer other flavors, Sonic will add whatever flavor they have to pretty much every drink on the menu for a modest charge (~10 or 20 cents).

  2. Can I ask where you got the nutritional info? The site says it only has like 10 calories.

  3. I got it from their website. You have to add Sweet Tea with Peach flavor. 10 calories is just for Peach Tea unsweetened.
