It's a hot sub so they heat up the buffalo sauced chicken strips in the microwave before assembling. The buffalo sauce has a nice spicy (but not overly so) flavor to it and pairs very well with the ranch. It's a very enjoyable mix.
Unfortunately, the sub suffers from not having enough meat. What chicken there was came in fairly sizable strips; there just was not nearly enough strips. While I enjoyed the bites with chicken and ranch, a lot of the time, I was just got bites of bread and veggies.
It's a shame as I like the flavor but you'd have to go "double meat" on the Buffalo Chicken Sub to make it enjoyable.

Luckily I live where I don't have to pay tax, so a $5 sub is $5. Yeah for me. Next time go for extra buffalo sauce and no ranch. You can thank me later!!
ReplyDeleteok i will keep that in mind
ReplyDeleteas far as "crap" i was making it funny so i apologize that it didn't go well atleast other people would find it funny and i just wouldn't think tax would be that much they might as well say tax in the commercials then thats why i brought it up
ReplyDeleteIf you get it on a flatbread, the proportion of meat is much more satisfactory!
ReplyDeletedid The Sister enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how much mass confusion would ensue if a patron insisted upon being sold a Bison Chicken Sub?
ReplyDeleteNo, she doesn't like spicy.
ReplyDeletewell i tried this earlier this week and i really loved it haha alot of chicken on mines and alot of other crap on there to :D
ReplyDeleteranch dressing

banana peppers
well worth the $6.42 i paid though its stupid at the same time don't call it a $5 foot long if your not paying $5
I paid $6.42 for all my $5 footlongs
typical!
ReplyDeleteI gave it a try and unfortunately found the chicken to be mushy due to sitting in the buffalo sauce. And in thinking about it, all meat from Subway are mushy and lack the firmness you associate with biting into meat.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I think it's because the meat is just shipped pre-cooked to them and all they have to reheat with is a toaster and a microwave.
ReplyDeleteSo funny I forgot to laugh!
ReplyDeleteThat's true but I thought I'd try to eat it (roughly) the way it looks in the promo pictures.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand your post at all. Why was all that other "crap" on it? You get to decide. It was still a $5 footlong plus tax right? Please right comments that people can understand.
ReplyDeleteand also i did ask for it im not complaining i always get that on my footlongs it makes it tastier
ReplyDeletei just made the mistake of ordering this :(
