2015 Veterans Day Deal Round Up

Here are this 2015's Veterans Day Deal/Free Food round up. I've listed the ones I've been able to verify.

Most offers require that you show your military ID or other proof of service. They're also mostly for dine-in only.

I'd advise you to call ahead as most chains run on a franchise model and some franchisees might not be participating. On that same note, some franchisees are offering free meals and the like, while the chain might not be nationally.

- Applebee's - Free dine-in meal from a special Veteran's Day menu at participating locations from open to close on November 11, 2015.

- Bar Louie - "From open to close Tuesday, November 10th and Wednesday, November 11th Bar Louie locations across the country will offer veterans and active military personnel a free meal up to a $12 value when they show valid military I.D. or other proof of service."

- Buffalo Wild Wings - "On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm Veterans and active-duty military personnel visiting their local Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant will receive one (1) small order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries for free."

- California Pizza Kitchen - "On Wednesday, Nov. 11, CPK invites veterans and active military to enjoy a complimentary entrée from a special Veterans Day Menu at all participating California Pizza Kitchen restaurants nationwide."

- Chicken Salad Chick - "Free Original Chick at all 43 locations. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, veterans who present proof of service in the form of ID Card will receive one sandwich or scoop of their choice of chicken salad, one side, a pickle spear and a cookie."

- Cracker Barrel - "Cracker Barrel will offer veterans a complimentary Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert during lunch and dinner on Wed., Nov. 11 at all 635 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations to thank them for their bravery and sacrifice."

- Denny's - Free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 5 AM to noon.

- Gigi’s Cupcakes - "To any service member with an active or retired military ID, the bakery will offer one free cupcake of any flavor on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov.11 at participating Gigi’s Cupcakes bakeries."

- Hooters - Free entree from a limited selection at participating locations on November 11, 2015. Dine-in only.

- IHOP - "Participating IHOP restaurants throughout the United States will serve a stack of Red, White & Blue pancakes – buttermilk pancakes crowned with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping – free for Veterans and Active Duty Military on Veteran's Day, November 11, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m."

- Krispy Kreme - "A free doughnut and small coffee will be given to anyone who identifies themselves as a veteran or active military personal (no ID required) on Veterans Day. Offer valid November 11, 2015 at participating U.S. Krispy Kreme stores only."

- Krystal - "From 6 AM to 11 AM, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, all active and retired military can receive a free chicken or free sausage biscuit."

- Little Caesars - "On Wednesday, November 11, from 11:00a.m. to 2:00p.m., veterans and active military members can receive their free $5 Lunch Combo, which features four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product."

- Olive Garden - "On Veterans Day, November 11th, we're inviting our veterans and active duty military to enjoy a free entrée from our favorites below. Don't forget that family members dining with them enjoy 10% off of their meals." You can choose from a limited set menu.

- Outback Steakhouse - "Outback Steakhouse is again honoring all active and retired military members on Nov. 11 with a free Bloomin' Onion and a Beverage. To express continued support for our troops beyond Veterans Day, Outback is also offering all Military Mates, including active or retired military members and their families, 15% off their check from Nov. 12 - Dec. 31. Plus, for the first time ever, Outback is honoring those who are currently serving our country by offering a Veterans Day Rain Check for a free Bloomin' Onion to deployed service men and women.

To receive the Outback Veterans Day Rain Check, deployed service men and women simply need to register at Outback.com/Military between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. Outback will then send an email voucher for a free Bloomin' Onion which can be redeemed by presenting the printed Rain Check, along with a valid military ID, at participating U.S. Outback Steakhouses in 2016."

- Red Robin - Free Red's Tavern Double burger with bottomless steak fries at participating locations on 11/15/15. Proof of service required.

- Ruby Tuesday - "Free appetizer to all veterans, active duty and reserve service members as a way to recognize their sacrifice and commitment to the U.S. Armed Forces. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, military personnel are invited to enjoy one of the following delicious free appetizers from the Ruby Tuesday menu at lunch or dinner." Choose from a selection of appetizers.

- Sheetz - "On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Sheetz invites all veterans and current servicemen and women to enjoy a free 6 inch turkey sub, regular size fountain drink and a carwash at all Sheetz locations, by presenting a military ID or proof of service."

- Shoney's - "In honor of those who have served, we are proud to offer a Free All-American Burger to all active-duty and veterans of the military on Veterans Day – Wednesday, November 11, 2015." You need to sign up to get a coupon for this one. You can find it here.

- Sizzler - "Free lunch and beverage on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2015. Guests with proof of military service may choose a free lunch entrée of a six-ounce Tri Tip Steak, a single Malibu Chicken or a Half Dozen Fried Shrimp. Free beverage choices are coffee, iced tea or a fountain drink. Sizzler’s salute to veterans is good until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at participating locations. The offer excludes the Unlimited Salad Bar and gratuity."

- Starbucks - "On November 11, your tall (12 fl oz) hot brewed coffee is free."

- Wawa - November 11 - "Free coffee of any size to veterans, active military members and their families, all day, with no military ID required."

- White Castle - "All past and current members of the U.S. military will receive a free Breakfast Slider, Waffle Slider or Toast Sandwich and small beverage on November 11 at participating White Castle restaurants. White Castle encourages Veterans and those currently enlisted to share proof of service at the time of redemption. However, no purchase is necessary to claim the offer."

- Wienerschnitzel - Free Chili Dog and a small Pepsi on November 11th.
