Burger King Debuts New Surge Freeze

Burger King looks to become a destination for fans of Surge soda with the release of new Frozen Surge, an icy slush version of the caffeinated green soda.

The new drink is exclusive to Burger King and can be found at participating locations nationwide.

Surge is a citrus-flavored soda that was introduced by Coca-Cola in the late '90s to compete with Pepsi's Mountain Dew. It was discontinued in 2002 but returned last year, in part, due to fan demand. It's currently on sale in some parts of the U.S.

Interestingly, Burger King doesn't offer Surge soda from the soda fountain.
