The new burger features the same quarter-pound seasoned beef patty topped with melted garlic herb butter and signature bun as the rest of the Buttery Jack line but adds Cheddar cheese, crispy onions, grilled onions. and a caramelized onion aioli to the mix (for triple onion goodness I'm guessing).
You can expect it to cost around $5 or so. There's a printable $1 off coupon for the Cheddar Onion Buttery Jack available off the Jack in the Box website that's good through 12/27/15.
Jack in the Box's strategy seems to be to offer the Classic and Bacon & Swiss Buttery Jacks as regular menu stalwarts, while rotating in limited-time versions as a third offering.
