Review: Chick-fil-A - Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit

Chick-fil-A's Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit features a pork sausage patty along with a folded egg and cheese served on a freshly-baked buttermilk biscuit.

I bought one for $2.85.

Chick-fil-A's take on this fast food breakfast standard works out very well especially if you like the flavor of butter, as not only is the biscuit buttery but so is the egg.

Beyond a distinct buttery quality, Chick-fil-A's buttermilk biscuit is pillowy soft, dense, and a little crumbly with a lightly crust to it.

The buttery egg comes in a just slightly spongy but mostly solid square. It's supposed to be folded but it's always been a square patty when I've gotten it. The texture could be better but they don't skimp on the egg.

The cheese was thoroughly melted and I lost little bit of it to the wrapper.

The sausage patty sported some deep grill marks and delivered the requisite salty porkiness paired with an enjoyable hit of seasoning and spice.

Overall, Chick-fil-A's Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit was really nice all around. Besides the texture of the egg, I wouldn't change a thing.
