McDonald's Headquarters Features Goat Cheese Burger in Latest Global Menu Rotation

The latest round of global menu items at McDonald's global headquarters restaurant in Chicago includes the Goat Cheese Burger from Spain as well as menu items from Japan, the UK, Canada, and France.

Here's what you'll find in the current rotation (which switches out every two to three months):

- Goat Cheese Burger (from Spain) - A third-pound beef patty served with smoky onion mayo, grilled onions, lettuce, and a slice of goat cheese on a toasted artisan bun that's topped with sesame and poppy seeds.

- Double BBQ Chicken Sandwich (from France) - Two marinated chicken breast filets served with thick white cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, red onion, pickles, and a Texas-style barbecue sauce on a toasted artisan bun.

- Egg BLT McMuffin (from Canada) - A fresh-cracked egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, American cheese, and mayo on a toasted English muffin.

- Cheese Bites (from UK) - Ten balls of mozzarella and emmental (Swiss) cheese dipped in herb batter and deep-fried. Served with a "rich tomato dipping sauce."

- Matcha Green Tea McFlurry (from Japan) - Vanilla soft served mixed with crunch Oreos and matcha green tea syrup.

McDonald's headquarters restaurant is the only restaurant in the US where you'll find the international items although one can always hope they'll someday expand the menu to other locations in the US.
