For a dollar, you get a folded soft flour tortilla filled with shredded chicken, lettuce, red tortilla strips, shredded cheddar cheese, and a choice of spicy ranch, creamy chipotle, or Buffalo sauce.
For the most part, except for the Buffalo sauce, the $1 Shredded Chicken Taco is made with normally stocked Taco Bell ingredients. That being said, the same taco custom-ordered off the regular menu will currently cost you about $2.74 or so.
In addition to selling for a buck, during the test period, the Shredded Chicken Taco is also featured in a $5 Box combo that includes a Shredded Chicken Taco, a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, and a medium fountain drink.
